"Andrew Hansen sharply portrayed Froggy with very refreshing burst of energy against his rather angsty counterpart. Hansen made everyone in the room feel like he was their best friend as his charm and charisma oozed off the stage. He played a very fun character, and his bursts of laughter were absolutely genuine (he never seemed like he was just an actor pretending to be amused)." The Foreigner Utah Theatre Bloggers
"Hansen had several outstanding moments while portraying Sancho. His song, “I Like Him” was a particular high point of the evening...he was very enjoyable to watch, and I found myself wishing I had a Sancho to help me facilitate my wildest whims." Man of La Mancha Utah Theatre Bloggers
"Seasoned actors Christy Allen, in the role of Elsa von Schraeder, and Andrew Hansen, as Max Detweiler, are ideal in their roles, and also make major impressions. Enveloping her character’s sophistication, Allen plays the wealthy fiancÉe with a sweet cynicism, drawing a laugh with nearly each bat of her eyelashes. Hansen romps as the lovably opportunist showman and “uncle” to the children. It would have been a favorite thing, and a surprise to the audience, were this pair be allowed the songs cut from the film and this modified script." The Sound of Music Deseret News
"Andrew Hansen has a strong sense of timing and gives us a confident and wily Persian peddler." Oklahoma! Utah Theatre Bloggers

"Andy Hansen and Phillip Varney were very enjoyable as the clowns Stephano and Trinculo, along with Steven Pond as Caliban. They brought a fine comic timing and broad slapstick to their comic scenes. I especially enjoyed the gesturing that Andy Hansen gave when we was envisioning becoming king of the island. These comic scenes were all enjoyable and probably the strongest part of the evening." "Finally, public recognition is warranted for Andrew Hansen for his role as the principal antagonist, Bud Frump. Hansen was petulant, insolent, and spoiled in his role, which was a joy to watch, but also helped drive much of the action (especially in the first act). Hansen’s performance made it easy to see why the other characters disliked him so much." How to Succeed in Business without Really Trying Utah Theatre Bloggers
